TC Roberson high school will be offering sports physicals after school in the main gym. The cost is $20. Payment can be made with cash or online using the link below.

TCR Physical Payment

Please wear tennis shoes and athletic wear, with hair pulled back
Have a current physical
Complete/Update FamilyID registration
Fill out the Cheerleading Tryout Application by June 5th
Have a parent/guardian attend the mandatory parent meeting on June 5th

ALL students MUST have a current physical on file in order to tryout. If you plan to get your physical from your doctor, please have them fill out the form provided in the link below.

JUNE

Mandatory Parent Meeting

Parent/Guardian attendance is essential to ensure all families fully understand cheerleading and school rules, schedules, costs and team expectations so athletes can have a successful and well-supported season.

3:30-4:00pm

In classroom 704

(there will be a virtual meeting available for any parents who cannot attend in person)

DAY 1: Clinic

Students will learn the tryout cheer, work on motions and jumps.

3:15-4:45pm

DAY 2: Clinic

Students will learn the tryout dance ,work on jumps, tumbling and do a mock tryout so they know what to expect on tryout day.

3:15-4:45pm

DAY 3: TRYOUTS

Students will be placed in groups of 3-4 and perform their tryout cheer & dance in front of the judges.

1:15-3:00pm

Welcome Meeting & Uniform Fitting

Our first official team meeting/practice to go over team rules and summer expectations. Our Varsity rep will come to VSMS and size the team for their uniforms, shoes and warm ups.

12:00-2:30pm

TRYOUT REQUIREMENTS

All students interested in trying out for cheerleading must complete the following requirements prior to tryouts:

Have a current physical
Complete/Update FamilyID registration
Fill out the Cheerleading Tryout Application by June 5th
Sign up for Fall Sports Tryouts
Have a parent/guardian attend the mandatory parent meeting on June 5th

(a virtual option will be linked below on 6/5 for parents who cannot attend the in person meeting)
